The CTF’s purpose is to offer the programs and support services that will make our Schoolowners and Instructors successful in their efforts to train their students. This manual is designed to offer the basic materials that all CTF School owners will need and make them aware of optional programs and items that are available.
TESTING CERTIFICATION - Our primary responsibility is to insure the quality of the students trained by our member instructors. In order to do this we set minimum standards that all students must meet in order to earn their rank. Of course, Instructors may add any additional requirements they wish as long as the student meets the minimum CTF criteria.

School owner Privileges
VOTING RIGHTS – All school owners in good standing have the right to attend and vote at the Annual School owners Meeting.
MARKET AREA – The CTF is responsible for maintaining the integrity of your market area.
TRAINING - We offer training seminars and camps to give our instructors the knowledge to teach safe, effective martial arts to their students. Our Assistant Instructor and Instructor manuals are teaching aids that outline a logical and time-proven approach to teaching Taekwondo. As a black belt progresses through the different levels of instructorship, he should continue to add to his knowledge and experience base. In turn, as each instructor develops his skills, he will pass this knowledge on to his students. This way, all instructors become a part of the historical tradition of this martial art.
COMMISSIONS & FEES –CTF schools earn commissions when students participate in CTF sponsored events and programs.
SENIORITY COMMISSION PROGRAM - CTF instructors can earn seniority commissions when their students start their own teaching programs.
PERSONAL RETREAT – All school owners are welcome to book a personal retreat at the Lodge in Limestone, AR where they may train, play, relax or just spend a little time with the family. For more information on the Lodge, please see its web site - www.ozarkwildernesslodge.com.
TOURNAMENTS – The CTF tournament program provides a safe, fair and competitive environment where students may measure their skills against others, gain inspiration from other martial artists with more experience and meet others in our Taekwondo family. We offer training clinics for our Tournament Officials that train our black belts to be more effective in the tournament ring. In addition the CTF joined with several other Taekwondo and tang soo do organizations to form the USTL so we could offer additional competition opportunities for our members.
